Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in dispensing medications and handling pharmacy duties under direct supervision. The role includes using pharmacy systems to enter patient data and process prescriptions, while coaching technicians and cashiers as needed.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a delightful experience. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is preferred in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prior six months retail experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred or required for promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Assist cashiers with transactions and maintain Good Faith Dispensing standards.
• Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain a clean, orderly Pharmacy Department and assist with customer service.
