Job summary

Kroger is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join its Fred Meyer team in Spokane, WA. You will support pharmacists, handle data entry, dispensing, and customer interactions while following HIPAA and company policies.

You will also assist with CLIA-waived screenings and health and wellness services in a compliant, caring environment. The role requires maintaining licensure, handling confidential information, and delivering accurate service across reception, data entry, and dispensing tasks, within

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a current national/state registration, certification, or license as required by state law.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Coach and train clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via various platforms and apps.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with laws and policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by regulations.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations; report unsafe conditions.
