Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a part-time pharmacy clerk to provide exceptional customer service in a health-focused retail setting. You will support pharmacists, handle data entry, and assist with dispensing while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safe, clean environments.

Responsibilities include reception duties, triage calls, cash handling, and inventory management, with opportunities for growth within Kroger's family of companies. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED, 18+, ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Desirable: familiarity with EPRN, prior pharmacy clerk experience, HIPAA awareness.
• Comply with laws and company policies, maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Understand inventory management and ordering with wholesalers; operate cash register per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer service and health/wellness support within state guidelines.
• Assist pharmacist and support data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing processes.
• Answer phone, triage inquiries, and manage vendor coupons and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and waiting areas; uphold HIPAA rules.
• Participate in health initiatives and support overall store health and safety programs.
