Fred Meyer is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing and patient care in the Vancouver, WA area. You will greet customers, perform data entry, assist with adjudication and ensure accurate dispensing of medications, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes customer service, precise data handling, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Training and coaching for clerks and technicians are available, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED; Must be 18 years; Ability to handle confidential information; Completion of national registration, certification or licensure
• Desired: Any previous comparable experience; Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician; Support health and wellness initiatives; Understand HIPAA regulations and company policies; Maintain current registration/certification/licensure per state requirements
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement; Provide customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing; Support non-dispensing services through various platforms; Complete CLIA-waived screenings as per law and company policies
