SGMC Health Careers is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Main Campus Pharmacy Department. The role provides technical support across the department, ensuring accurate medication preparation and distribution.

You will participate in training, ongoing education, and quality initiatives to support patient safety and care quality. The position requires Georgia licensure, active registration, and certification, with experience in hospital pharmacy systems such as Epic, Omnicell, and QS1

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/registered with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy and active as a pharmacy technician.
• Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Prior health care, hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support in the Pharmacy department and related duties.
• Complete at least 20 hours of Continuing Education every two years.
• Assist in training and assessment of new staff and students.
