Job summary

Garnet Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with routine duties under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing medications, inventory, reports, and maintaining records.

Required: current PTCB certification and NYS registration; high school diploma or equivalent. Optional: associate or bachelor’s degree. Shift mostly nights at GHMC Main Campus, 0.7 FTE; on-site work with potential evenings.

Qualifications

• Current and ongoing PTCB certification and NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong data entry, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform complex weight and measure calculations and decimal point manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine pharmacy responsibilities under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Perform calculations and maintain records and reports as required.
