Work Shift

Night shift – 8 hour (10:00pm – 6:30am). 40 weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in preparation of medications and IV fluids.
• Deliver products to various hospital departments.
• Interview patients for medication histories in nursing areas.
• Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Education & Training

High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience

None required.

Certification/Registration/Licensure

• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Georgia, verified by the Georgia Secretary of State’s professional licensing board.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Utilize standard office equipment (computer, printers, labeling machine, fax machine, copier, IV Flow Hood).
• Computer literacy, e.g., word processing.

Other Information

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Full Time Equivalent: 1.
