Job summary

Kinney Drugs is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to assist in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions to patients. The role supports pharmacy inventory, third-party receivables, and cash handling with a focus on accuracy and patient care.

Responsibilities include using the pharmacy management system and POS system, ensuring pharmacist review of every prescription, and handling routine clerk duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED.
• AS Degree or Higher preferred.
• PTCB or other nationally recognized certification program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and cycle counts.
• Ensure prescriptions are checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing to patients.
• Assist in submitting and resubmitting third-party claims as required.
• Perform store clerk duties and handle cash accurately and professionally.
• Participate in MTM and patient-centered professional services as needed.
