Job summary

Onco360 in Louisville, KY is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing to join our specialty pharmacy team. You will build patient profiles, process orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes, and support pharmacists throughout the prescription journey.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience (3+ preferred), a HS diploma, and active licensure or registration. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site training followed by remote work.

Qualifications

• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Creates patient profiles and processes orders from electronic prescriptions and fax queues.
• Requests refill prescriptions when appropriate.
• Manages incoming documents from the fax server.
• Generates and types prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
• Follows up on prescription transfers and clarifies patient data for processing.

At Onco360, our Pharmacy Technicians play an important role in helping patients living with cancer and rare diseases access the medications they need. As aCertified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing, you'll work as part of a collaborative pharmacy team supporting patients, caregivers, providers, and pharmacists throughout the prescription journey.

This is an opportunity to use your pharmacy experience in a specialty environment where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to connect with patients and healthcare providers truly matter.

Starting Pay: $23.00/hour and up + Quarterly Incentive Bonus
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before October 31, 2026.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Consistent Scheduled 8-hour Shifts Between 8am and 8pm.
Location: Louisville, KY
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote after Onsite Training
Employment: Full-Time

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing - Qualifications/Experience:

• Required: 1+ year pharmacy technician; Desired: 3+ years pharmacy technician, Specialty pharmacy experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Certain States also require National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA)

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing - Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
