Job summary

Onco360 is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support intake and prescription processing at our Buffalo, NY location. The role involves creating patient profiles, processing orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes, and coordinating with pharmacists to ensure timely dispensing.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience (3+ years preferred), an active license/registration, and may require CPhT certification depending on state requirements.

Join our team at Onco360 as Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing

for our Specialty Pharmacy located in Buffalo, NY.

At Onco360, our Pharmacy Technicians play an important role in helping patients living with cancer and rare diseases access the medications they need. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing, you'll work as part of a collaborative pharmacy team supporting patients, caregivers, providers, and pharmacists throughout the prescription journey.

Starting Pay

$23.00/hour and up + Quarterly Incentive Bonus

Sign-On Bonus

$5,000 for employees starting before October 31, 2026.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | Consistent Scheduled 8-hour Shifts Between 8am and 8pm.

• Required: 1+ year pharmacy technician; Desired: 3+ years pharmacy technician, Specialty pharmacy experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Certain States also require National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT via PTCB/NHA)

Certified Pharmacy Technician - Intake/Prescription Processing - Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numerals), brand and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
