Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacy services, including preparing and distributing pharmaceuticals, inventory control, and maintaining records under supervision.
The role also includes data entry for outpatient prescriptions, insurance issue resolution, and coordination with providers as needed. Requires a high school diploma and board registration; certification within 6 months is expected, with no formal experience required.
The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for providing pharmacy services which include, but are not limited to, preparing and distributing pharmaceuticals, performing inventory control and, providing customer service, maintaining pharmacy records, and operating and monitoring pharmacy automated technology systems,. The Pharmacy Technician I works under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and/or the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to ensure delivery of high quality patient focused pharmacy services.
