Job Summary

Night shift position for a Certified Pharmacy Technician I at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The role includes a generous shift differential and a rotating schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off.

Schedule

Shift: 8:30 pm to 7:00 am, rotating 7 days on, 7 days off.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the attending pharmacist, the Technician accurately fills, labels, and distributes ordered medication in accordance with departmental procedures and federal/state/local regulations. The Technician also maintains drug inventory and patient records, and implements quality checks and performance improvement measures to support high‑quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED
• State Registration Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification, or Licensed Pharmacy Technician
