Certified Pharmacy Technician I
Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician contributes to high quality, patient-centered care performing technical tasks vital to the distribution of medications. Under the supervision of the attending Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician accurately fills, labels, and distributes ordered medication according to departmental procedure and federal/state/local regulations. The Pharmacy Technician also maintains the drug inventory and patient records and implements quality checks and performance improvement measures.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate / GED
- State Registration Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, or Licensed Pharmacy Technician
