Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking an individual to assist the pharmacist under supervision and perform pharmacy department duties as required. You will interact with customers to provide a positive experience, process prescriptions using pharmacy systems, and help manage daily store operations and cash handling.

Ideal candidates will have PTCB certification, retail experience, strong math and computer skills, and a focus on excellent customer service. Evening and weekend availability is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer PTCB certification.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills so they can fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and in related duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with and coach pharmacy technicians in operation of pharmacy systems and cashiers in the pharmacy cash registers.
