Job summary

Providence Ambulatory Services in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Associate Pharmacy Technician for a full-time Day shift. You will fill physician orders, perform standard technician duties under a pharmacist’s supervision, and support Retail, Mail Order and Specialty Pharmacy clients.

Required: Oregon Pharmacy Technician license or Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician and successful background check. Preferred: National Certification (CPhT) and 1 year of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Oregon Pharmacy Technician license or Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician required at hire.
• Background check required by Providence HR policy.
• Preferred: National Certification (CPhT) and 1 year customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Fills physician orders for patient medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Performs typical duties of a retail or call center pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and local procedures.
• Communicates with and services needs of Retail, Mail Order, and Specialty Pharmacy clients.
