The role emphasizes quality control, proper documentation, and adherence to USP standards while collaborating with a healthcare team to support continued patient care and safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Ohio Certified Pharmacy Technician registration.
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
  • Hospital or compounding experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with USP <795>, USP <800>, and non-sterile compounding.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Compound non-sterile medications according to prescription orders and site SOPs.
  • Clean, calibrate, and maintain compounding equipment and workspaces.
  • Stage raw materials and manage non-sterile compounding inventory.
  • Maintain batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs.
  • Follow USP <795>, USP <800>, and applicable state and federal requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Complete training, competency assessments, and annual revalidation.

The position is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to oversee and grow compounding capabilities while serving as a subject matter expert on compounded treatments. This role focuses on quality, patient safety, and compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.

Shift Options:
  • Front Half: Sunday-Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Back Half: Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Donut: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
