Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital pharmacy team. Under the guidance of licensed pharmacists and the Director of Pharmacy, you will ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication services for patients.

Responsibilities include assisting with prescription preparation, data entry, labeling, stocking supplies, and supporting clerical tasks to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina, or obtain registration within 6 months of hire.

• Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient data.
• Prepare labels and routine prepacked medications.
• Receive, stock, and organize pharmaceutical supplies.
