Job summary

NeighborHealth in Boston, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication ordering and delivery within a fast-paced clinical team at the Taylor Building. The role involves processing prescriptions, coordinating with patients and providers, and maintaining EMR documentation.

Ideal candidates have MA licensure and PTCB certification, strong English communication, and basic reading/math skills; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED required.
  • Current valid Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification.
  • Current valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Ability to work on a team in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support clinical staff with medication ordering and delivery.
  • Process prescription orders from start to finish.
  • Communicate with patients, co-workers, insurers and prescribers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Uphold HIPAA and privacy standards.
  • Promote teamwork to ensure safe, efficient medication handling.
