The Pharmacist Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department. Provides supervision for Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and all support staff. Is also responsible for oversight of all support services needed to support the department. In addition, this position represents the Health Center and is an active member of the center’s management team.
EDUCATION: BS degree in Pharmacy required. PharmD degree helpful. Valid license to practice pharmacy in MA. Obtain CE credits needed for license renewal as required
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience preferred
Knowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy systems, general clinical
knowledge and expertise in traditional therapeutics and patient centered care, excellent comprehension of written policies and procedures
Ability to make appropriate decisions, develop and complete follow-up actions,
Ability to motivate and direct staff
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Attention to detail or organizational ability
Effective writing, presentation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Computer literacy, English proficiency
Compensation Range: $144,560-$239,200. Final salary to be determined by relevant experience.
