Job summary

Phoenix Pharmacy Solutions in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our team and support pharmacists in delivering accurate prescription processing.

You will handle medication orders, maintain compliance, and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, with ESOP benefits and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years of recent pharmacy experience; billing and prior authorization knowledge preferred.
• Experience with PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or a similar system preferred.
• Able to type >45 wpm.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to be a team player and promote a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Pharmacist to maintain and improve pharmacy services.
• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team.
• Review physician's orders and enter patient medication orders into the pharmacy system.
• Process and fill orders.
• Deliver a quality pharmacy experience for both patients and providers.
• Maintain compliance.
