Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking motivated Pharmacy Technicians to join our pharmacy team across multiple locations in Central Ohio. We highly value Certified Pharmacy Technicians, but we will also consider Registered Techs and Trainee licensed with the State of Ohio.

Positions are full-time at Mount Carmel East, St. Ann's, Grove City, and Dublin, with a variety of shifts and settings to support professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Active registration as a Certified Tech with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Aptitude in mathematical manipulations (ratios, proportions, multiplication, division, decimals).
• Ambition to advance within pharmacy technician specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in timely and accurate provision of medications to patients.
• Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepare sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Prepare non-sterile products in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Repackage bulk oral medications using Parata Systems and robots.
• Facilitate medication dispensing via Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
• Assist in dispensing orders through the pharmacy inventory system.
• Assist in inventory control and proper stock rotation.
