Job summary

Mount Carmel East seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician who will assist the pharmacist in ensuring timely, accurate medication provision to patients. Under direct supervision, responsibilities include unit dose dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, packaging, inventory, and billing with automated systems.

The role includes joining an elevated compensation program for sterile compounding trained technicians, with training completion leading to higher pay.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician certification and registration with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience is desirable.
• Effective communication skills and math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Establish a working identity with the Pharmacy Team and culture.
• Perform sterile product preparation, non-sterile compounding, packaging, and dispensing support.
• Assist with inventory control, billing, and use of automated dispensing systems.
