Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician required by state law for at least 1 year.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with patients.
• Basic computer proficiency; pharmacy software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in accurately filling and dispensing prescription medications.
• Receive and process prescription orders from patients, physicians, and providers.
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including receiving deliveries and stocking shelves.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, process insurance claims, and assist patients with billing questions.
• Maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment per state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with patients to answer questions and direct complex inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
