Responsibilities

• File written prescription forms after dispensing.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms if needed.
• Maintain organized filing system for invoices and daily reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Assist customers in locating over-the-counter items.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy scheduling system and data accuracy.
• Coordinate scheduling of technicians and fixed activities.
• Adhere to state and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain inventory levels and handle controlled substances appropriately.
• Perform returns and manage inventory variance reports.
• Assist in third party audits as needed.
• Ensure department maintenance and cleanliness.
