Job summary

Mercy Health, Perrysburg Medical Center, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team. Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, maintaining records, educating patients, and supporting pharmacists in daily operations.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, complying with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies. A High School diploma or GED and valid ExCPT certification with State Board registration are required, with prior retail/hospital experience

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT Certification and state Board of Pharmacy registration required.
• Experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify prescriptions accurately.
• Record patient information with prescriptions per guidelines.
• Educate patients on correct medication use.
• Support Pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.
• Adhere to infection-control protocols and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
