Giant Food in Rockville, MD is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in providing safe, accurate, and friendly pharmacy services. You will fill and label prescriptions, maintain patient records, assist with inventory control, and promote immunizations and screenings.

Under supervision, you will help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, assist with health screenings, and process transactions.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or pharmacy operations preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prescription Support - Assist the pharmacist with filling, labeling, and processing prescriptions while maintaining accurate patient records and compliance with regulations.
• Customer Care & Clinical Services - Provide friendly service by answering questions, assisting with health screenings, supporting immunization services, and processing transactions.
• Inventory & Safety - Manage ordering, stocking, and organization of medications and supplies while ensuring proper storage, handling, and safety standards.
