Job summary

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a certified pharmacy technician for the JPS Correctional Pharmacy at JPS Health Network in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The role involves unit-dose filling, pre-packaging, IV preparation, and handling controlled substances, with a schedule of M-F 7A-4P or 10A-7P and every 4th weekend.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, national certification, and at least 3 years of pharmacy experience; correctional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nationally certified and registered as a pharmacy technician in the state of employment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
• Correctional facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing safe, effective pharmacy services.
• Fill unit-dose orders and pre-pack medications.
• Prepare IV doses and manage DEA controlled substances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and inventory control.
• Verify NDC numbers and labeling accuracy.
• Support training, performance improvement and team activities.
