Position Overview:

A Part-Time position for a Certified Personal Trainer who will also serve as a Fitness Sales Professional.

Your Talents and Credentials:

• Passion for improving the lives of others with a can-do positive attitude
• Effective, engaging, and welcoming interpersonal communication skills
• Desire and capacity to adapt training to diverse ages and fitness levels
• Must hold and maintain professional fitness certification from an approved agency such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, AFFA, NFPT, or related, and CPR/AED certification
• Bachelor’s degree in an exercise-related field (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Personal Training Sessions, Small Group Sessions, and Nutrition Counseling Sessions to clients
• Build member participation in all services provided
• Ensure safety and monitor exertion levels of participants
• Modify and customize workouts to accommodate various skill levels
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment used
• Complete required educational modules and pursue continual learning
• Attend fitness department staff meetings
• Supportive team player, role model, and collaborator
• Provide member feedback, program concerns, or questions to management promptly
