Ideal candidates have 1 year of experience, are CPR/AED certified, and hold a CPT credential with knowledge of fitness and nutrition. This role emphasizes safety, client education and ongoing credential maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience required.
• Certified Personal Trainer designation required.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients during sessions on equipment use and proper form.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety and motivate members.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client fitness plan.
• Keeps credentials current and stays updated on industry trends.
