Life Time Inc. is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to empower members toward healthier, happier lives. You will build relationships, deliver personalized training plans, and champion safe exercise on the floor.

You will conduct initial consultations, assess needs, monitor progress, and provide education and motivation. A CPR/AED certification and a high school diploma are required, with additional certifications and a bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Personal Trainer certification is required.
• CPR and AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for class duration and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe and effective use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training associated with the role.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, medical history, lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Fulfills member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations, service desk duties and equipment cleaning.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• Ensures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service.
• Documents all aspects of client programming.
• Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program.
