Job summary

Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC) in Park Ridge, IL seeks a Certified Personal Trainer to grow a client book, design personalized programs, and lead on the fitness floor. You will greet members, build relationships, and deliver high‑quality training in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Full-time (30 hours/week, weekends included) with commission per session ($40–$74) plus bonus potential ($500–$1,000/month) during the first 3 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or related field.
• Nationally accredited Personal Training certification.
• 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience.
• CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage InBody machine and fitness desk.
• Oversee the fitness floor and greet members.
• Build your client book through outreach and sales techniques.
• Create personalized workout plans and deliver quality training.

Compensation:

At FFC, Personal Trainers earn commission based on experience and certifications. Commission rates range from $40 - $74 per session based on experience and certifications. New trainers have the opportunity to earn bonuses ($500-$1000/month) in their first 3 months.

New Trainer Schedule & Responsibilities (First 60-90 Days):

• Choose 5+ shifts/week (6 hours each) including at least one weekend shift.

First 90 Days Responsibilities:

• Manage the InBody machine, Fitness Desk, etc.
• Oversee the fitness floor
• Greet members - get to know our members!
• Perform outreach (email/calls) - building your book of business is a major part of this job. Use sales techniques to show your expertise and value as a top notch trainer!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in exercise physiology or related field
• Certification: Nationally accredited Personal Training certification
• Experience: 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience
• Expertise: Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer
• Safety: CPR and AED certification
