Fitness Formula Clubs (FFC) Lincoln Park is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to grow a personal book and deliver high‑quality training. This full-time role emphasizes prospecting, scheduling, and delivering customized workouts to members.

You will manage client relationships, drive sales through gym floor interactions, and promote FFC programs while keeping the training floor safe and professional. Requires 2+ years in a health club, CPT certification, CPR/AED, and a Bachelor’s in exercise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or related field.
• Nationally accredited Personal Training certification.
• 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience.
• Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer.
• CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Grow client base through prospecting (calls, emails, social media).
• Organize weekly appointments and manage your schedule.
• Full-time (30 hours/week, including weekends).
• Drive results by meeting individual and department goals.

Compensation:

At FFC, Personal Trainers earn commission based on experience and certifications. Commission rates range from $40 - $74 per session based on experience and certifications. New trainers have the opportunity to earn bonuses ($500-$1000/month) in their first 3 months.

New Trainer Schedule & Responsibilities (First 60-90 Days):

• Choose 5+ shifts/week (6 hours each) including at least one weekend shift.

First 90 Days Responsibilities:

• Manage the InBody machine, Fitness Desk, etc.
• Oversee the fitness floor
• Greet members - get to know our members!
• Perform outreach (email/calls) - building your book of business is a major part of this job. Use sales techniques to show your expertise and value as a top notch trainer!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in exercise physiology or related field
• Certification: Nationally accredited Personal Training certification
• Experience: 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience
• Expertise: Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer
• Safety: CPR and AED certification
