Job summary

EverCare Mobile Health seeks an enthusiastic Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) to support recovery, independence, and connection in community-based settings across Payette, Weiser, and surrounding Idaho communities. This full-time, hourly position emphasizes peer support, relationship-building, and helping clients identify strengths and goals.

You will travel between locations, collaborate with staff, complete documentation, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Idaho CPSS certification, or ability to obtain before providing services.
• Lived experience with mental illness and recovery consistent with Idaho CPSS model.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required Idaho background checks and facility clearances.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Ability to complete electronic documentation accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic, recovery-focused relationships.
• Use lived experience to promote hope and recovery.
• Help clients identify strengths, goals, and natural supports.
• Encourage self-advocacy, confidence, independence, and community involvement.
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources.
• Support wellness routines and recovery-oriented activities.
• Model healthy boundaries and self-direction.
• Collaborate with EverCare staff and other supports as needed.
• Observe and report behavioral health or safety concerns.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Travel between assigned locations throughout Mountain Home and surrounding communities.
