La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC servingSouthern New Mexico with a mission to empower families and communities through quality health and support services. The Peer Support Worker will provide recovery-focused peer services to individuals with behavioral health needs, act as an advocate, and assist in the recovery process.

Position emphasizes confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Eligible for or certified as a NM Certified Peer Specialist (18+ with recovery experience).
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Must pass background check, TB screen and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to individuals with behavioral health issues.
• Act as consumer advocate, offer information and assist in recovery.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to LCDF policies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support clients.
