La Clinica de Familia in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide services to individuals with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, and physical illnesses. You will serve as a consumer advocate, offer information and support, and help clients in their recovery journey.

This role emphasizes compassionate communication, cultural sensitivity, use of Electronic Health Records, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care.

Competenze

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Certification as a certified peer specialist in NM.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and pass background checks.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Certification as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico.
• Must maintain a clean driving record. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
