La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) seeks a Peer Support Worker to provide services to members with behavioral health issues and other health conditions. You will advocate for consumers, share information, and support recovery in a respectful, culturally competent manner.

Responsibilities include using Electronic Health Records, collaborating with teams, and maintaining safety and professional standards while adapting to changing needs of clients and community.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Certification as a Certified Peer Specialist in New Mexico.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and submit to background checks, TB screen and drug testing.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.
