Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to join the Community Treatment Team. The CPS will provide non-clinical support to adults in the community, drawing on lived experience to encourage recovery.

This role emphasizes stage-wise interventions and collaboration with colleagues to promote wellness. The position is non-exempt, primarily weekdays, with a comprehensive benefits package starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Must self-identify as an individual with a serious mental illness and in recovery
• HS Diploma or GED required; Current CPS certification
• Criminal/Child/FBI Clearances (Act 33/34/73) required
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen required
• CPSL training required

Responsabilités

• Provide non-clinical support to individuals in the community
• Serve as a Certified Peer Specialist, using lived experience to inspire recovery
• Deliver stage-wise interventions based on the consumer’s readiness to change

Connaissances
