Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to support individuals in recovery from opioid use disorder. You will draw from your own recovery journey to inspire and motivate others, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to promote individualized treatment plans.

The role emphasizes patient empowerment, documentation accuracy, and active participation in community resources and self-help activities, starting with a High School diploma and Peer Recovery

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required with Peer Recovery certification.
MO Peer Recovery certification or CPS certificate required.
Strong communication and empathetic listening skills essential.

Responsibilities

Assist patients in recovery by modeling coping strategies.
Provide peer-to-peer support and encouragement.
Collaborate with treatment team to tailor recovery plans.
Support patients in setting personal recovery goals.
Document activities and progress per policy and procedures.
Coordinate patient support groups and community resources.
