Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare seeks a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide recovery-oriented peer support within our behavioral health and substance use treatment services. The role leverages lived experience to connect clients with resources, build recovery supports, and sustain engagement across treatment phases.

You will work with the treatment team to promote recovery, improve outcomes, and support clients before, during, and after care, including coordinating with referral sources and documenting

Qualifications

• This role is designated as billable and requires documenting billable services in line with state regulations.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPRS certification is required.
• One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility is preferred.
• One year of direct peer support experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services utilizing lived experience to support client recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support care and recovery planning.
• Assist clients in connecting with community resources and ongoing support systems.
• Maintain regular contact with referral sources as directed.
• Complete timely documentation of all client and collateral contacts in medical records.
• Participate in peer record review processes and quality assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff across disciplines.
