The Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist at Dove Recovery in Cleveland provides compassionate peer-based support, delivering individual and group sessions and transporting clients between recovery housing, the treatment center, and community meetings.

You will use your lived experience to connect with clients, offer hope, and help them navigate the recovery process while collaborating with the clinical team and maintaining confidentiality according to policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPRS certification or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group peer support services, sharing personal recovery experiences.
• Transport clients safely to and from recovery housing, center and meetings.
• Assist clients in navigating the recovery process with guidance and resources.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to integrate peer support into treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and communicate concerns promptly.
• Facilitate recovery-related activities, meetings and workshops.
• Connect clients with 12-step meetings and recovery resources.
• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with confidentiality standards.
