Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 0–6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to an assigned group of patients using basic skills and knowledge.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living and considers patient age and psychosocial factors.
• Observes and reports patient condition, activities, and needs to licensed nurse in a timely manner.
• Performs specialty skills and knowledge appropriate to patient population as delegated by the licensed nurse.
• Completes unit/hospital documentation accurately and legibly.
• Transports patients, meals, supplies, and equipment as needed.
