CCMC Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV seeks a Nurse Aide/Patient Care Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a registered nurse. You will deliver high-quality patient care and coordinate with licensed medical staff.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS within 30 days, and CNA/PCT certification eligibility with state registries (OH/WV). 36 hours per week; non-exempt, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Nationally certified patient care technician OR WVU Medicine Patient Care Technician program OR current CNA certification as required by the state.

Responsabilités

• Observe and report patient concerns/changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
• Assist the RN with admission, transfer, discharge and general patient care duties.
• Record vital signs and assist with personal hygiene and comfort measures; monitor intake/output.
• Assist in specimen collection and other activities of assigned patients.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
• Communicate with RN regarding nutrition issues and diet changes.
• Support department operations with administrative tasks and answer patient call bells.
