Job description

Are you a Certified Paralegal who thrives in high-stakes, high-volume cases, and who understands the entire personal injury process from claims through litigation readiness, and consistently moves cases forward toward resolution?

Do you have a proven track record in managing complex auto, trucking, and commercial vehicle accident cases, including multi-party litigation, discovery preparation, and trial readiness?

Can you balance exceptional attention to detail with proactive, personable client communication, ensuring both attorneys and clients are informed, aligned, and progressing efficiently at every stage of the case?

Final question: When faced with a challenge, do you get excited or run away?

At Saundra M. Davis, P.C., a respected legal institution located in Snellville, GA, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. Under the leadership of Saundra M. Davis, Esq., our firm specializes in personal injury cases, with a distinct focus on auto, trucking, motorcycle, and commercial vehicle accidents, offering compassionate, strategic, and comprehensive representation to those in need.

Because of the complex, multi-party nature of the cases we handle, often involving multiple defendants, insurance carriers, UM/UIM claims, and high-value damages, we are seeking a Certified Paralegal who is not limited to isolated claims or litigation tasks alone. This is not a task-based or heavily supervised role, rather, we are looking for someone who takes ownership, operates independently, and drives cases forward without being managed. This role requires someone who can confidently operate across pre-litigation/claims through litigation preparation, ensuring cases are built thoroughly, proactively, and with urgency from day one.

What you’ll do:
  • Own case progression from claims through litigation readiness, ensuring cases move forward without requiring attorney follow-up or intervention
  • Ensure all cases are fully documented and litigation-ready prior to filing, with no missing critical information
  • Draft, review, and manage discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and responses
  • Prepare demand packages with complete supporting documentation, including medical records, bills, and liability evidence
  • Coordinate and track all case-related deadlines, filings, and requirements
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date case files in Filevine; all case activity must be documented in real time with zero backlog, no handwritten tracking or external systems
  • Communicate directly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare cases for trial by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring all materials are complete and litigation-ready
  • Identify gaps in documentation or case development early and take proactive steps to resolve them
  • Ensure cases are structured and documented in a way that allows for immediate transition into litigation when necessary
  • Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality, accuracy, and speed of execution
What we’re looking for:
  • Certified Paralegal (required)
  • Active Notary Public (required)
  • 4+ years’ of Personal Injury experience (Plaintiff or Defense) within Georgia within the past 6 years (so, recent experience) (required)
  • Demonstrated experience handling cases across pre-litigation/claims and litigation preparation
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including insurance processes, liability, and damages
  • Proven ability to independently identify missing information, take initiative to resolve gaps, and prevent delays in case progression
  • Experience managing complex, multi-party cases (preferred)
  • Proficiency in case management software (Filevine preferred) and standard legal documentation systems
  • Demonstrated ability to move cases forward with urgency and minimal supervision, consistently driving progression toward demand, resolution, or litigation readiness
  • Proactive problem-solver who identifies issues before they become bottlenecks (we don’t hand-hold at the firm)
  • Clear, professional communicator with both clients and internal teams
  • Self-starter who defaults to prioritization and effectively managing multiple deadlines simultaneously
Why you should work here:
  • Empowering Culture: Be part of a team that values growth and nurtures every member, from interns to executives.
  • Community Involvement: Engage in meaningful work that extends beyond legal representation, impacting lives through various charitable activities.
  • Career Development Opportunities: Benefit from a firm committed to career advancement and skill enhancement. Access to training programs and mentorship opportunities.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Join a firm that values creative problem-solving, self-sufficiency, and the “Saundra M. Davis” way of client care.
  • Post Six Months Start Date:
  • Health Care Plan: We offer a monthly reimbursement (with proof of expenditure) up to $250.
  • Retirement Savings: Take advantage of our 401(k) plan, which becomes available after 6 months of employment, with a 3% employer match, helping you plan and save for your future.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Enjoy flexible PTO that allows you to take the time you need for rest, personal matters, and overall well-being.

At The Law Offices of Saundra M. Davis, P.C., your role as Certified Paralegal extends beyond standard tasks; you are a vital link between clients and the legal team, enabling clients to navigate their legal matters with confidence and trust. You will become a cornerstone of our client experience, helping clients turn challenging situations into successful outcomes. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to a firm that champions client advocacy, operational excellence, and a compassionate approach to legal service.
