Specialty Hospitals

We operate 76 long-term post-acute care hospitals (or LTACHs) in 28 states under the name Kindred Hospitals, a premiere network of specialty hospitals for more than 35 years. At these facilities, interdisciplinary, physician-led teams deliver quality-driven hospital-based care for the most vulnerable, clinically-complex and post-intensive patient populations. Our LTACHs offer the same in-depth care patients would receive in a traditional hospital's intensive care unit, but for an extended period of time needed for recovery.

Community Hospitals

Located primarily in smaller towns, our 18 comprehensive community hospital campuses provide exceptional care and services to patients and provide a supportive and positive work environment for our dedicated teams. Our acute care hospitals reflect the needs and unique aspects of our local communities.

We are headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky but offer and maintain supporting roles throughout the country, including remote opportunities.
