Responsibilities include: accurately coding, complete, and concurrent abstraction of oncology patient data for administration, clinical trials, research, reporting, certifications, and quality improvement within Oncology Services. Requires excellent computer skills, ability to work independently and remotely, and maintaining patient information confidentiality. Tasks include case finding, abstracting cancer cases, staging, coding all treatments and follow-up activities, and identifying/reporting discrepancies in the EMR.
Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:
