Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of OT programs under supervision. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Must hold a valid Texas license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Must have current Cardio Pulmonary Recitation Card (CPR) certificate from a recognized provider or obtain CPR within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and screen residents for OT intervention and communicate results to families and staff.
• Plan and implement therapeutic activities to meet patient goals and coordinate with the care team.
• Document daily interventions and discharge planning as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure appropriate and timely discharge or transfer.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies.
