Palm Garden seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents across Florida. You will follow the treatment plans, guide activities to improve function, and communicate progress with the care team in a supportive post-acute setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and helping residents maintain dignity and independence. Day-to-day duties include documenting progress and collaborating with therapists to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active and Clear COTA license in the State of Florida.
• A caring attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Follow the treatment plan set by the Occupational Therapist.
• Guide residents in exercises, mobility training, strengthening, balance work and fine motor activities to help residents regain function after illness, injury or surgery.
• Document progress, challenges, and improvements in the medical record and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist and care team.
