Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program is required or preferred.
• NBCOT certification as a COTA may be required by the state.
• Current license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• New grads welcome; mentorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OT.
• Assist in implementing personalized care plans focused on functional goals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are obtained and up to date.
