Job summary

Highland Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Bellingham, WA. Pay ranges from $35.00 to $38.00 per hour, DOE, with full-time hours available.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited OTA program, hold a current COTA license and CPR certification, and have six months of long-term care experience (new grads welcome).

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs with goals based on residents' capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Assist residents with rehabilitative activities and exercises per OT plan.
• Apply clinical reasoning in treatment planning and progress monitoring.
• Instruct residents and families in home programs, basic living skills, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Maintain punctual, regular attendance for assigned shifts.

Highland Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia is looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Occupational Therapist to help residents build strength, regain independence, and improve their quality of life through hands-on, everyday activities.

What You'll Do

• Administer treatment programs with specific goals based on each resident's/patient's capacity and tolerance, under physician direction
• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities and exercises as outlined in the treatment plan developed by the OT
• Apply sound clinical reasoning in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient progress
• Help instruct residents/patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, and use of adaptive equipment
• Maintain punctual, regular attendance for assigned shifts

What You Bring
