Job summary

Domnovate Healthcare seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a local contract in Salinas, California. Bring clinical judgment to rehabilitation that supports self-care, daily routines and independence within the care team.

Provide treatments under the supervising OT, document progress, and communicate changes. Schedule runs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 35-hour weekly guarantee; start on 23 November 2026 and end on 20 February 2027.

Our Client is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a local contract opportunity in Salinas, California. Bring thoughtful clinical judgment to rehabilitation that connects practical recovery, participation and everyday independence. Work with the rehabilitation and care team to help each person make progress toward meaningful goals.

Your contribution

Implement treatment established by the supervising occupational therapist within assistant scope. Provide therapeutic activities that support self-care, daily routines and functional independence. Observe each person’s response, document care and progress, and communicate relevant changes to the supervising occupational therapist. Explain techniques clearly and help patients and caregivers participate safely.

Support coordinated care that respects each person’s abilities, priorities and dignity. Communicate clearly with colleagues, patients and caregivers, follow professional standards and safety practices, and complete documentation promptly. Clinical work, caseload and team arrangements will be reviewed during hiring.

Assignment and schedule

• Local, on-site contract; no traveler stipend.
• Source shift window is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 30-minute meal period. Final workdays and complete work pattern confirmed before offer.
• The source lists a 35-hour weekly guarantee, subject to attendance and assignment terms. Confirm actual worked and paid hours before offer.
• Source start date is November 23, 2026; the actual start will be confirmed before offer.
• Current source end date is February 20, 2027. Start date and remaining duration confirmed before offer.
• The source lists Monday through Friday; confirm the complete schedule before offer.

What you bring

• Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure or eligibility, with required credentials completed before practice.
